Question: My cousin Help!!!!!!!!!!! Best answer 10 points!.!?
My cousin is 17 (girl) just turned 17 and she was telling me she really liked this guy named miguel and said she had sex with him but that was about all she told me and nothing else!. Me and her are practically like sisters!. By the way what is the age of consent in cali!? and after she did that with him she moved to a different city!. Her parents or brother or sister no nothing about it!. i thought she was insane for doing that!. but thats all the info i have on that!. also it really made me mad that she would do something like that especially with all the teen pregnancies going on!. Ok well i'm pretty sure the age of consent in Cali is 16!. And i'm also pretty sure that if you are 12 + you can have sex as long as your partner is no more than 3 years older than you!. If you are 15+you ca have sex as long as your partner is no more than 5 years older than you!. Once you turn 16-17 you can have sex with pretty much anyone!. I'm not certain that's how it works in Cali though!.
There isn't much you can do for your cousin except remind her to use protection and make sure she knows about STD's and how they work etc which hopefully by 17 she already knows!. Don't be mad at her!. Be glad that she waited til she was 17!. I have friends who are having sex at 12, 13, 14, 15 yo!. And don't tell her parents or siblings-if she wants to tell them that's her choice, but it's not your place to tell them!. Just support her!. You guys are obviously close if you are the only person she has told!. If I were in your situation I would just support her and be there for her if she needs to talk or needed advice!. If you get angry at her she won't to confide in you anymore!.
