Do iron injections cause constipation?!

Question: Do iron injections cause constipation!?

Iron tablets make me constipated, but I was wondering if intramuscular iron injections also cause constipation!?

I'm sure they would!. Doesn't matter the route of the medication, the same side effects will occur!. Best thing to do is find a mild stool softener and start taking that when you start getting the iron!. That way they work in unison!. Ask your doctor, he may be able to prescribe something that won't be so hard on your system!. OTC drugs can be harsh!.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!. They do!. Yu should up your water count and your vegetables intake if you are also taking iron!. You may also need a teaspoon of mineral oil to keep things moving!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
