Adverse effects of pain pills?!

Question: Adverse effects of pain pills!?
I have had four lower back surgeries!. I have been in pain management for nearly a year now!. I take the following pills daily:
2-Lortab 10's
1-Soma
2-Flexerils
1-Robaxin
3-ibuprophens

And I am in need of a 5th surgery, possibly a fusion!. I have noticed over the past month that my knees and joints in that area have become increasingly sore!. It's like I have arthritis in my legs!. Is this coming from all the pain pills I have to take!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm not sure about your particular meds, and if they've been prescribed for you by your doctor then they should know about the safety of them!. That said doctors are willing to prescribe drugs rather than treat the cause (some-not all- here in the uk anyway)!.
The Lortab contains acetaminophen, which we call paracetamol!. Long term high usage (or a simple overdose) can cause liver damage!. But again i'm hoping the doctor would have prescribed the lowest safe dose for you!.
I don't know whether these drugs would interact with each other, you'd need to ask a pharmacist!.
The lower joint pain could be referred down from the back!. It is common for nerves to be damaged in back problems which could cause these problems, it is also possible that arthritis could have developed separately!. However ibuprofen is commonly prescribed to treat arthritis as it is an anti-inflammatory!. All pain killers, taken for a long period begin to lose effectiveness, as the body becomes tolerant of them, resulting in higher doses being used; please do not alter the dose without advice of your doctor!. The ibuprofen can also cause stomach bleeding, so if you notice heartburn, or have dark stools see your doctor!. hopefully the surgery will fix the problem!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
