Question: What is the best method for quitting smoking!?
Answers:
1!. Make up your mind to do it

2!. Pick a particular date and time!. Don't pick one when you know you'll be stressed or when you usually smoke the most!.

3!. Stick to that quitting date/time unless something stressful crops up!.

4!. Give up the night before if you plan to quit the next morning!.

5!. Drink fruit juices and water, milk, soft drink through the day!.

6!. Don't drink alcohol, coffee or strong tea!.

7!. Don't eat chocolate as it leaves a residue in your mouth when giving up smoking mimicks the after-taste of a cigarette and increases your desire to have one!.

8!. Try to break your usual daily routine with some other stuff to break the subconscious link between what you do and when you have a smoke!.

9!. Try to stay away from friends/family who smoke

10!. Dont go to the usual places you go when you can smoke!.

Quitting cigarettes is a two pronged attack!. You have to deal with the physical withdrawals - nicotine!. You also have to quit the routine of lighting up!. It's a double habit you're battling!.
All the nicotine should be cleared out of your system by the 7th day so, if you can last that time you're really only fighting the subconscious habit of smoking!.

Good luck!.

PS!. Remember just because you try and fail it's just not the right time for you to be able to quit!. Keep at it after you've had time to think about it later down the track!.
I was a smoker and I tried about 5 times to give it up and after only a day or two I found I had to go back to them!. I kept trying and trying after taking a month or more to continue smoking!. Each time I lasted longer and my resolve was greater!. I eventually kicked the habit and haven't had one for over 10 years!. Sure, I still get the cravings every now and then but they're diminishing with time!. You can do it if you keep at it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a former smoker for 21 years (2 packs a day), the only way for me was to quit "cold turkey" I threw my cigs out the window on my way home from work and then played a game with myself of quitting for 24 hours, then another 24 hours etc!.

After about 5 days, my craving was less, after 2 weeks much less and after a month, very minimal!.

Every so often you will be tempted but have the intestinal fortitude to just say NO!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
