Well I have had it in the past so now how unpleasant is it but my bf had it also twice in the past!. Hes told me that after the first time he got an infection in a cut under his foreskin!. Hes been too scared to go the docs to get cream for it but i suggested he did!. Now does that sound plausable cos i know he wouldnt lie to me!. He said he was too embarrassed to tell me earlier and thats why we havent had sex yet as it is painful to pull his forskin back!. Please dont judge!. thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

This is likely to either be a yeast infection or if he hasn't cleaned under the foreskin properly, this can lead to an infection!. If there is lots of discharge and an offensive smell then it is likely an infection and he'll need to see his GP
If there is no discharge but under his foreskin is red and/or itchy, try applying Canesten!. This should sort the problem out!.
Cystitis just means inflammation of the bladder, which is usually caused by a urine infection!. This is completely different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did he tell you how he got a cut under his foreskin!? If he hasn't seen a doctor, it could be a herpes blister!.

hi im a nurse and it wont be cystitis that he has, it will just simply be urine going into the cut which will give a burning feeling very similar to cystitis as urine is very acidic!.
I believe what hes saying as it is veey embarrassing to go to the docs and tell them about problems with your genitals!. It will take about a month to completely heal though so he really should get cream!.

A friend of mine had a similar problem he went to doctor who told him it was caused by thrush!.
the cut was caused by pubic hairs caught under the foreskin rubbing against the yeast infection!. this was caused by caused by poor personal HygieneWww@Answer-Health@Com

cystitis is a urinary infection and as far as i know not related to cuts or surafce wounds!.
