I was taught that this happens when we are in a very relaxed mood "daydreaming" and as we are all made up of energy, we are open to other energies around us!.
The sudden surge of "another energy" makes us shiver!.
It is the feeling we get after the shiver that makes us aware of the type of energy, cold as in a needing energy or warm as in a giving energy!.
