A person with depression can do the same kind of job anyone else can do, they just need to get medication if needed or see a professional to help them deal with their depression!. Lots of famous people over the years have been severely depressed but still ran the country, painted beautiful pictures, commanded military persons during war time and written books & novels just to name a few things!. I have been depressed all my life, I get help for it!. Don't let your depression hold you back!. I was suicidal for 25 years, that is all I ever thought of!. Then I met a Psychologist (I've been to tons of psychiatrists & therapists and taken almost every antidepressant on the market at one time or another) but finally found out why the pills didn't work!. I was misdiagnosed!. I have PTSD!. Since we have been dealing with that issue that caused it I am like a new person!. I still a bad day from time to time but I had them 25 out of 30 before and now it's more like 5 out of 30!. A good Dr is hard to find, believe me, but once you do, you will get better!. So a depressed person can do any job, just get the help he or she needs also!. I am a retired paramedic, I did paramedic work while depressed and suicidal!. Seeing people worse off than you helps put things into perspective for a while also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
