Why is it that when you have cold, you lose your normal voice?!


Question: Why is it that when you have cold, you lose your normal voice!?

I'm not sure!.!.!.but I think its because there is a certain amount of swelling, inflamation, that will effect the vocal cords, tonsils, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't lose tastebuds, you lose you ability to taste as taste is what you smell!. When you can't smell, you can't taste!.

Your voice gets scratchy because of swollen glands, excessive coughing which makes it raw, and the build of of phlegm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Inflammation of the larynx is normal during a cold!. It causes hoarse voice or the complete loss of the voice because of irritation to the vocal folds (vocal cords)!.

Because we get sore throat we lost normal voice!. We have to eat anti-biotic medicine which affects our taste buds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
