Answers:
Because they are made from cartilage, and not bone!. After 27 - 30 bones do not grow anymore, but cartilage does!. And it is helped along by booze, cigarettes and drugs!.

I think gravity causes them to elongate!. Our hair and nails don't continue to grow after death, it's just that the rest of our body shrivels with dehydration and the body gets smaller!. Hair and nails don't shrivel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
