I had a really bad allergy attack and took some Advil...?!
Question: I had a really bad allergy attack and took some Advil!.!.!.!?
I'm talking really bad - My eyes were pretty much sealed shut, I couldn't breathe through my nose, My inner ear was dry and itchy and my skin was starting to break out!. So I took an Advil and about 10-15 min later I felt better enough to let myself sleep!.
My question is doesn't Advil take about 30 min!. to get into your system!? Did I just feel a placebo type of affect!? Does that mean allergies really is all in the mind!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, Advil is an anti-inflammatory medication!. 10-15 minutes is about right for a response time, but if it helped your symptoms, it wasn't allergies!. Allergies would be helped by an antihistamine, like Benadryl!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
