Question: How to get fluid out of the ear!?
I went to the doc!. the other day thinking I had a severe ear infection!. Turns out I have fluid in the ear!. Doctor said to hold my nose and blow to try and get my ear to pop!. It has been maybe 3 days and ear is still the same!. I can't hear anything out of the ear!.!.!. except for the feeling of being under water and hearing people talk but not being able to make it out kind of feeling!. Any suggestions as to how to get the fluid out of the ear!. A friend recommened sudafed I believe it was!. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated!.

Pour some alcohol on a cotton ball!. Squeeze a few drops into your ear and keep your head turned sideways until it has gotten in deep enough!. The alcohol will evaporate the fluid!. For ear infections, particularly swimmer's ear, combine vinegar with the alcohol and do the same!. The vinegar is a mild antiseptic!.
If you still have a problem, you may have wax that is blocking your ear canal, which is trapping fluid behind it!. If this is the case, have your ear vacumned out or irrigated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They make these little suction things for babies that looks like a big teardrop, or a little turkey baster!. I get that all the time from baths!. Use this (usually found in baby section in store!.) to suck excess water out with!. It is fairly soft and bendable, and with a little maneuvering, I have gotten mine in far enough to suck it out!. Just don't jam anything too far!.!.!.
