Is AgNO3 poisonous?? can it be applied inside mouth for some medical reason?!

Question: Is AgNO3 poisonous!?!? can it be applied inside mouth for some medical reason!?
Answers:
Silver Nitrate is used inside of the mouth generally to either burn off mouth sores or to stop bleeding from something like a dental visit!. You certainly do not want to gargle it or anything, certainly do not swallow it!. It burns the skin, so when it is use, the process is called cauterization!. There are other uses for it, they used to use it diluted quite a bit to wash new babies eyes out to kill possible syphillis!. One man in the 60s (I think), daubed his whole body with it and turned himself brown and then wrote a book called BLACK LIKE ME!. and that is not BS!.

It used to be that you could purchase it over the counter in cotton swabs like qtips, but no more!.

For informational purposes, the solution would have to be diluted down quite a bit to use it almost anywhere!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
