I am 21 and I am 5'8" and I have been since about your age!. Do not feel wierd about it!! I always felt like I was way too tall and I always wanted to be shorter like most other girls around me, but being tall has many advantages!! You always look leaner and skinnier because you are taller, you can pull of outfits other girls may not, you stand out in a crowd (in a good way), and long legs are really sexy :) Do not feel like you are freakishly tall!! Most girls would kill to be that tall!

No, you are not freakishly tall!. The average height of girls is getting taller all of the time, with each generation!. Now I am 5'9" and 46 years old!. When I was in high school back in the 1970s I was THE tallest girl in my entire school, but nowadays I see kids in my daughter's high school and a lot of the girls are taller than I am!.
