At 18, I still didn't know what I wanted to be, I just chose something that I thought was interesting and picked!. It is never a waste of money to invest in a college degree!. Most people switch careers several times in their life before finding the one thing they like to do!. Why!? Because few people at age 18 or even 20 know exactly what they want to do for the rest of their lives!.!.!. so will volunteering help you!? Yes, but what might help you more is to talk to people who are in the feilds you are interested in, ask them what they do and how they like their jobs!. Also, find some books on careers or search the web to investigate what these 50 jobs are to learn more about them!. You may find you are interested in something else! Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should really do a job shadow for the jobs you think you might like to do in the future rather than volunteer!. Volunteers are usually appointed easy jobs that professionals do not have time for!. I work at children's hosp in the ICU and our volunteers hold babies, clean playrooms and keep kids company but they cannot follow the nurses or docs around!. Call around to places that you might like to work and request to job shadow a few positions you are interested in, explain that you are in school and are looking for a career path!. My high school offered a class for soon to be healthcare professionals and someone from a diff medical job came in every week for interviews and to explain their jobs, see if your school offers this as well!. volunteer in a hospital!. some hospitals let volunteers follow doctors, surgeons, or work in the trauma center or cancer center!.!.!. whatever you're interested in!. it looks good to colleges when they see you've volunteered at a hospital as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
