Question: When giving an IV push without a saline lock attached, !.!.!.!?
1!.) What will the port look like!. (How can I accurately identify if there is a saline lock or not)!?

2!.) Where exactly should I clamp the line if there is not saline lock!?

When we do Saline locks when we DC the line we push NS through the IV Cath and just lock it off!.!. Its the same as a Hep lock just Saline is used and not Heparin!.!.!. Hope that's what you were looking forWww@Answer-Health@Com
