House's bum leg in the tv show "House"?!

Question: House's bum leg in the tv show "House"!?
I was wondering, how come House's leg is in constant pain!? I know he had some dead tissue on his leg and they have been removed, but since the dead tissue is gone why is he still experiencing pain!?

Also, I'm curious as to what would this pain feel like!? Is it a sharp pain, or constant soreness, etc!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe it's explained in season 1, episode 21 if you want to watch it

He came into the clinic, and was kicked out for drug seeking after he plunged a syringe of Demerol into his thigh!. He came in again, and was peeing tea-coloured urine; his kidney's were shutting down!. Three days later they discovered his kidney's were failing because he had an infarction (a blot clot, most commonly they're strokes or heart attacks) they couldn't handle the crap that a dying muscle was releasing!. He asked for bypass, and wanted to wait it out, seeing if he would recovered!. But when they put him in a coma because he couldn't handle the pain, his girlfriend, and medical proxy, Stacy, opted for debridement surgery!. They went in, removed the dead portion of muscle, relieved the stress on his kidneys and (this is arguable) she saved his life!. But also left him in chronic pain and missing a substantial portion of his quad!. He wasn't too happy with her decision, however!.

I'm pretty sure it's a sharp pain, but I don't know for sure!.

*answering 'additional details'!.!.!.
It's a chunk of muscle missing from his leg, not allowing the rest of his leg muscle to work properly!. Even though it's missing, the leg is acting like it's still there and goes into a brief 'shock' when it discovers that the piece is missing, causing him pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
