it's common!. Amoxycillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, so kills off a certain amount of GOOD bacteria as well as the bad!. Try probiotic drinks like YakultWww@Answer-Health@Com
Many people either develop diarrhea or constipation when taking antibiotics because they fight not only bad bacteria but some of the "good bacteria" that inhabit the intestines and break down food!. Try eating white rice or white crackers to stop the diarrhea!. Warm water with turmeric or warm water with apple cider also help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
That is just one of the nastier side effects of antibiotics, sorry!. For me Erythromycin and Zithromax cause that type of reaction!. Call your doctor or pharmacist to see if you can take something to calm your tummy down (like maalox, peptobismol or whatever the equivalent is in the UK)!. it's probably antibiotic asociated diarrhoea, where the antibiotics kill some of the friendly bacteria in your gut!.

I was advised by the GP to eat a yoghurt a day to counteract this effect!. Did help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
