Take my toddler to the doctor for an acetaminophen worry?!

Question: Take my toddler to the doctor for an acetaminophen worry!?
I found my two year old daughter playing with dozens of 500mg acetaminophen pills!. How she got the bottle open is a mystery to me!. I saw that she had some in her mouth very briefly, then spit them out; I tried one and they taste nasty!. She says she didn't eat any!. I don't think she consumed any, but should I take her to the ER just in case!? Or would that be too extreme!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutely go to the ER!. Acetaminophen can cause liver failure!. The Doc there can do a blood test to see how much tylenol is in her blood!. There is an antidote to tylenol toxicity, but it needs to be given sooner rather than later!.

Go!. Get the blood test, and the antidote if need be!. If you don't need it, then you will feel much better for having checked!. Any doctor in the ER will want you to bring that child in, and no one will think you are being silly for doing so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
