Answers:
A genital warts check-up can be done at:

a genitourinary medicine (GUM) or sexual health clinic
some general practices; ask a doctor or practice nurse
some contraception clinics and young people's services (there will be an upper age limit)!.

Some people do not need treatment or they choose not to have any!. However, for most people, having treatment is likely to make the warts go away more quickly!. As genital warts are caused by a virus and not bacteria, antibiotics will not get rid of warts!.

Visible warts can be removed by:

Putting cream or a liquid onto the warts (for a few days each week)!. This can usually be done by yourself at home!. Some people ask a partner to apply the cream or liquid for them!. You may have to apply this treatment for a number of weeks!.
Freezing (cryotherapy)!.
Heat (electrocautery), using local anaesthetic!.
Surgery, using local anaesthetic!.

You may be advised to avoid sex until the warts have cleared up!. This is mainly to protect the treated area of skin from friction and to help it heal!.

Using condoms may help to prevent the spread of the virus if they are used while the warts are present and for the first three months after the warts have gone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
