Question: This is so nasty!. how do I convince my mom!.!.!.!?
k well my brother had this nose surgery!. 3 times a day he has to put this stuff up his nose and let it come out his mouth!. I'ts mostly blood and it apparently, makes a huge mess!. Well my mom decides to have him do it in the bathroom that I have all of my stuff in and use!. Because it is closest to my room!. The other night I woke up to go to the restroom and there was bloody water stuff everywhere everywhere!. All over my stuff and every thing!. I hate blood so I rushed out screaming at my mom!. she said she was going to clean it up sometime!. so nasty!. the next day I complained and said that was gross and unsanitary!. She said that she would move my stuff out of the way before he does it next time!. but I still think it is nasty as hell! even if she does wipe it up with a napkin when she's done, I still set my tooth brush and rinsing cup there!.!.wouldn't the germs still be there!? how do I tell her to not do it in my bathroom or tell him to be neater about it!. cause last time I told her that she said "there is no neat way of doing it"!. i'ts grossing me out!. and wouldn;t it be kinda unsanitary!? spewing blood everywhere and then just wiping it up!? ew!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't see why he has to do it at the sink!. Why cant he get down on his knees and let it drain in the tub, then he could run water over it after wards and flush it down the drain!. The other way is really gross and very unsanitary!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a bottle of spray cleaner that contains bleach--they have it at Dollar Tree!. Then, before you use the sink, spray it and wipe it--germs gone!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is the best place for him to do it, because doing it in the kitchen where food is prepared would be worse!.
If the mess isn't completely cleaned up, or not cleaned properly, then yes it is unsanitary!.
Best thing to do would be to buy a toothbrush holder and store it in there, and keep the stuff you usually keep on the shelf above the sink/on the sink in small travel wash bags, so that the blood won't get on your stuff!.
Keep and antibacterial cleaning solution, like Dettol, Flash etc handy and make sure all the surfaces are cleaned with that and hot water each time he uses the bathroom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
