Why do I always get constipated?!

Question: Why do I always get constipated!?
Serious question!. I have no idea what to do!. So before you start to say that don't get enough fiber, don't drink enough water, or don't exercise, here's the thing:

I rarely eat refined breads; 90% of the time I eat whole grain breads
All I drink is water, cranberry juice, or tea
I exercise 2 hours 3-4 times per week!.

Although lately, I can't bring myself to go to the gym because I just feel so bloated and nauseous from my constipation!. I've tried everything from drinking warm water (sometimes with lemon), to more dairy, to red meat and sugar (I don't eat a lot in general so when I do I usually can poop), to laxatives!. Nothing is working anymore, not even the laxatives!.

I'm in college so it's not like I can just go out and buy more fruits and vegetables!. The cafeteria doesn't have much of an option either!. I don't want to go to the nurse because quite frankly, I don't feel like paying money to them when they won't even know what to do!.

Oh and I usually get constipated before my period but that's during the week before!. As of now it's 2 weeks before I'm due!.
Anyone else have any ideas!? Serious answers!. No stupid ones, thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As TT said it could be IBS!. I guess I am wondering if you are on any medications currently!? Because there are several that have constipation as a side effect!. If you are not, I would increase your water, try eating some dried prunes and veggies like broccoli!. Have you tried laxative tea!? There is a kind called "smooth move" that works really well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

listen I think if you try a saposatory it will work in a min!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have Irritable Bowel (IBS) - tends to occur when under stressful circumstances (ie college)!. Supplement your diet with a multivitamin and also try one of those fiber supplements!. I buy these great little muffins by Oroweat called double-fiber!. Each one has about 33% of daily intake, so a couple of them along with some fruit/veg and you're getting 100% of intake!.I know it's high in sugar but have you considered Orange Juice, or of course oranges/citrus fruit too!?

All else fails Walgreens/CVS sell this great drink called Magnesium Citrate!. Plan on it working in about 5 hours and spending the day in!. My sister has your issues (hers is bad diet) but she takes one of them about once a month and feels a ton better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
