Answers:
I always thought Tylenol was someone's name, but looking it up it's like most other drugs: the name is steamed from the chemicals it contains!.

In Tylenol's case : N-ace(tyl)-para-aminoph(enol)Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom came up with the name of some drug 15 years ago, but i have forgotten the name!.
She worked at a (med) drug research company, and still does as a senior project manager!.
She tells me that a lot of drugs are named from contests like the one that my mom won (she got $750)
Oh, and yes, almost all names are derived in some fashion from the chemicals they contain or for the condition that they are treating, again, like my mom'sWww@Answer-Health@Com

An entire board room of doctors, marketers, and lawyers all contribute to naming each medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
