Answers:
i always cry after general anesthesia!. i think i cry cuz i feel so nervous and get dizzy when they put the anesthesia and i don't get a chance to realize that i fell asleep and am now waking up from surgery (there is not a lapse of time in my mind so i don't think the surgery has even started and it makes me nervous again) also after anesthesia i feel so sick and usually throw up and i am in a lot of pain as well so all of this makes me very emotional and i cry!.

but at the time i can't come up with that reasoning and the nurses seem to be rude to me which makes me even more upset!. they always ask whats wrong!?! in a mean tone and i can just say i don't know cuz i can't gather my thoughts well enough to tell them!. and then i cry more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you mean general anesthesia!. Local is just that, local - they don't put you to sleep!.

I have had general anesthesia a few times and never cried after waking up!. Not sure what it is, but it is a chemical and it can affect people so differently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
