Question: To Euthanise or Not to Euthanise!?
If an animal is in pain, or has a poor quality of life, we "put it down" to end its suffering and as some might believe to send it to a better place!.
Why do we expect our friends and family, our most treasured loved ones when suffering from end stage terminal illness to carry on struggling in pain with no quality of life right to the bitter end!.
If you had a choice, would you prefer to be euthanised (for the sake of argument lets assume its done under strictly monitored conditions with strict criteria to meet), or to suffer in pain until the bitter end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've always thought it should be legal!. I actually don't see much difference between living wills, which are legal and encouraged, and euthanasia!. In one's living will, one can state that they do not wish to be placed on life support, and if they cannot speak for themselves, then they want to be allowed to die!. Why should someone who doesn't know what's going on be allowed to choose death over life in pain, when we deny that to those who still have the mental capacity to realize the pain they are in!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am so for euthanasia after watching my Mother die from cancer!.!.!. and now my Father is dying a slow horrible death!. We seemingly treat our animals with more dignity and respect than we do human beings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
