Question: Eyes bloodshot, itchy and hurt!?
My eye is extremely bloodshot and it's been watering like crazy!.!.!.It itches and it hurts to blink!. When I was working I noticed that there was a slightly goopy substance at the corner of my eye, but not a lot of it!. Could it be pink eye or just an infection!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's a very good chance that it is pink eye!. Pink eye does have notable drainage but not so much watering!. These also could be allergy symptoms!. Usually pink eye and allergies will affect both eyes!. If it is pink eye you need to know it is extremely contagious!. You should see a doctor for appropriate diagnosis and treatment!.
Until you get the diagnosis you should not share towels or wash clothes with anyone!. Use a fresh towel and wash cloth every day or two depending on how much of the goopy drainage you have!. Incidentally, most people have a little bit of yellowish thick drainage in the corner of their eyes when they first get out of bed and this is considered normal!. Wash your hands frequently and avoid rubbing your eyes because that can put the infected material on your hands and you can spread to others by touching them on the face!. Pinkeye is an infection usually bacterial!. You should see a doctor or eye doctor for antibiotic drops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
