Lasik is safe!.!.!.but you have to take certain precautions before and after the operation!
I feel you are too young at 17 for lasik as your number is not yet
'settled'!. If you do it now then the chances are you'll have to repeat it in your 30s or go in for spectacles again!.
Ophthalmologist will check your eyes for thickness of cornea, because he's going to slice it open and some loss of tissues is involved!. This makes repeat surgery impossible in some cases!.
Post operative care is of utmost importance to avoid infection & other complications!.
It is not cheap!.!.!.as say wearing most expensive designer glasses or disposable soft contacts!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine cost $3600!. I am now near-sighted in left eye, and far-sighted in the right eye!. Doctor would not give my money back saying it was my fault for being a slow healer!. Even though my wife and daughter had it done and doing well with it, I would not recommend it!. I have to have two pairs of glasses now!.!.!.!.one for day, one for night!.
