First off - the selective breeding of plants has been going on for thousands of years!. This is genetic altering, and all of the food you will ever buy or grow yourself has been changed in this way!.
Secondly, it's actually really, really hard to splice animal and plant DNA!. They are so different as to be almost impossible aside from the ransom enzyme here or there - such as corn that makes insulin - which isn't in the normal food supply but is used to make medicine!.
Finally, all genetically altered foods are tested by the FDA prior to release to the public!. So no, this doesn't bother me at all!.
If we don't alter our foods to increase yield then we will all starve eventually as the human race outgrows the ability of the Earth to provide food!. If this is by selective breeding (which take multiple generations to select the proper offspring) or genetic alterations (which takes less time and is thoroughly tested) does not matter to me!. So long as my family and I have access to enough safe food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would be more worried about the shortage of food if the genetic splicing were not to occur!.

The FDA has approved these types of foods for consumer consumption, so why would they need to label it!? It has been determined that it is safe and that it is no different than normal food!. It makes no difference to me!. It's going to taste the same either way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
