Is it an "eating disorder" or just body issues? ?!

Question: Is it an "eating disorder" or just body issues!? !?
After talking a little with one of my friends ive come to realize that i have a really big problem!. I dont eat enough (hardly at all) and when i do eat a little i become really sick!. I pretend to be ok with the way i look but i HATE the way i look!. I lie to people about what i weigh!. Im 5'6 and say that i weigh 115 but really i weigh about 100 pounds!. I dont tell people the truth because i think they wont believe me, because i think i look like i weigh about 150 pounds!. All i know is that this has been going on for too long, and im coming to realize that i cant live my life like this anymore!. But im so afraid of gaining weight i just cant eat!.

My friend told me she thinks i have an eating disorder, but i just think shes being dramatic and i just have body issuses!. What do you think!? And if the problem is "anorexia" then what do i do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I think that you have anorexia and the body image confusion which goes with it; you see yourself as fat when you are actually very thin!. You are underweight for your height!. You are near to a dangerously low weight!. Anorexia can eventually lead to heart failure; anorexics usually become very ill, collapse, and end up in the hospital with a feeding tube in their nose!. You can end up damaging your bones and teeth irreparably!. You'll start losing hair!. Your body will eventually just start to fall apart!.
If you want to acknowledge that you do have an eating disorder, and if you want to avoid getting as ill as what I have described, you need to go to your parents and tell them that you need psychological help!. They could take you to a counselor!. Or, if you do not want to involve them, you could go to your school guidance counselor and see if he/she could direct you to someone!.
I also googled some phone numbers which could help you if you do want to address this and get help!.
Bulimia/Anorexia Self-Help Hot-Line # for Teens: 800-227-4785
National Eating Disorder Association Toll-Free information and referral helpline: 800-931-2237
Maybe these numbers can help you help yourself if you want to do so without involving your parents!. But it would be best if you DO involve your parents so they can support you as I am sure they love you and would want you to get healthy and stay that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You just described the very definition of anorexia!.

You need to see your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
