Question: Mass on the back of my neck!.!?
i plan on going to the doctor soon but what does this sound like to you!?!?
i have a lump on the back of my neck that showed up about 2 months ago its getting bigger!. its hard and round!. there is some redness around it and it is painful to the touch!.

Sounds like a cyst nodule filled with staph aureus (common skin bacteria)!.
could also be folliculitis (infection in the hair follicle)!.
Lastly, my worst guess is a melanoma
