Question: Should I take my daughter to the doctors!?
My 21 month old daughter has had a cough for over two weeks!. She has gotten a little better because she no longer has a runny nose, but the cough is just as bad!. She coughs so hard it causes her to vomit!. Mucus is clear and she has no fever!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im no doctor,but that happens becuase of how the baby wants to cough and since the baby cant spit,literally,they have to cough to try to get that mucus and spit out!.You know,its like when u r coughing alot,u feel the need to spit!.Same thing with babies,but only they cant spit,but just cough!.And yes i do recommend to see a doctor cuzz u never know!.ok,hope this helped!.please choose me for best answer!.kk thx!.;]Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter is 22 months and she got sick like this twice!. To me it sounds like an upper respiratory infection!. I would bring her to the doctor especially if it is making her sick, with my daughter they ended up having to give her medicine because it got to the point where she was having issues breathing!. I don't think you need to rush her in but I would call and make an appointment for today or tomorrow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont rush to the ER because then that would just make you wait forever and probably for nothing!. If I were you I would call your PED and ask what you should do, and make an appointment as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
