Did i hurt my brain today?!

Question: Did i hurt my brain today!?
today i ate a small breakfast (3 scrambled eggs, 2 multi vitamins and a cup of milk)- about 200 calories at 6 o'clock!. i went to school and walked for maybe 45 minutes in gym!. that was right when i got to school!. i then went the next few hours without a snack or lunch, till about one o clock when i was getting warm and fuzzy sensations in my head (not a good thing) and i managed to find 20 goldfish crackers, then 3 mini twix bars a half hour later!.

when i got out at 2:15 i started eating immediately to get my blood glucose up!. the only reason why these circumstances are different than usual is i usually don't have gym, or if i do i have a snack after wards, and recently i have been trying to improve my metabolism (so the calories wouldn't have been conserved at all)!.

it has been hours since then and i am still tired, lethargic, in a poor mood and i haven't said anything funny all day!.!.!.!. i used to have an actual disorder where i wouldn't eat much to lose weight and i would get these feelings all the time!. but i had to stop because the headaches were too much!. could i have starved any braincells in this 7 hour period!? thank you

the carton says each egg is 70 calories, i'm guessing that means raw!. so lets assume 70 becomes 35!.
35+35+35+100 (cup of milk) = 200

The answer is NO, most likely not!. The neurons that make up your brain are more resielent than you think, in particular to diminishing glucose levels [1] [2]!. In fact, as your blood glucose is dips, and you feel tired, your body is already undergoing chemical changes to counteract the low blood glucose level; ie converting fats/proteins into sugar, and releasing sugar from glycogen stores, etc!.

Nonetheless, a low blood glucose level can cause headaches [3], though these have never been linked to neuronal loss!. Rather, the strongest predictor of neuronal death is oxygen deprivation, which the body and brain are much less reseliant to (unlike glucose, you cant store oxygen in your body and release it when necessary! you must constantly breathe it in and have your red blood cells distribute it to all cells in the body)!.

In conclusion, don't worry! Just make sure you eat healthier, low glucose does temporarily impair mental processing (ie your neurons fire slower, but no damage is done) and is known to cause depression and other changes in personality [3]!. Next time you have a headache or before a work out, make sure to consume low GI carbohydrates!. These are foods that release sugars into the blood at a slow rate and sustain you for longer durations!. (fruits, whole grain breads, whole grain pasta, etc!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

WHy not eat somme nutritious foods like fruits and veggies and try to get at least 1500 calories a day or you are starving yourself!. Dont want to stunt your intellectual growth with poor nutrition do you!? Make better choices and eat more often!. Plus take a vitamin supplement as has been suggestedWww@Answer-Health@Com

3 mini twix bars!? Christ mate, stop eating so much!.

Perhaps try masturbating, that should help you feel a lot better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are tired and lethargic it might just be from low blood sugar!. It is better to eat 6 small meals a day to keep your blood sugar steady than to leave long spaces of time between your meals!.

Are you taking vitamins!? Do you eat enough fruits and vegetables ( 5 servings a day)!? If you know you're going to be hungry after you work out them bring some food with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
