Answers:
chances are you had anxiety BEFORE you started smoking!.
and your body related nicotine to relaxing, hence why you didn't notice it while you were smoking!.
now that you've quit your anxiety is acting up again and that's totally normal!.

as for trying to relax and decrease anxiety, i would suggest plenty of exercise, drink LOTS of herbal tea, and maybe read a good book or do something else that you find calming!. also, when you're having a panic attack just remind yourself that you're not going to die and it will be over in about 15 minutes!.

panic attacks are like riding a bike up hill!. its a total struggle to get to the top, but once you are there the rest is smooth sailing!.

hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a 9 month old daughter I take care of by myself and sometimes in middle of attack she starts crying cause she feels my tension and i cant help her and then i freak out even more cause I cant help her cause I'm freaking out!. But the 2nd day I got sick vomiting and the next day was really nauseaous and having a hard time swallowing and breathing!. now yesterday morn i woke up with green stool twice yesterday and this morning again too, did that happen to you!? did you quit cold turkey!? or wein yourself off!? i only smoked a couple a day so i should be ok quitting cold turkey i hope!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nicotine is a very powerful drug and it can take a long time for your body to get rid of it's desire for it!.

Congratulations on getting this far!.

Stick with it and these symptoms will pass too!.

Consider going for a walk or something when you start to feel the anxiety building!.

I would also recommend you go to your doctor and tell him what you are trying to achieve!. He may even be able to give you something to assist!.
No one needs to quit smoking on their own!. There is a lot of help available out there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hate to be so!.!.!.ignorant, but it is all in your head!. Now that you have experienced the emotions of anxiety, they will come back like all your other emotions (hopefully mostly happy ones)!. You will have these days, but you will get through them!. Try having more "happy days", and I really mean like Fonzie!. Be laid back, have fun with friends, just forget about all your self consciousness (except necessary things like manners of course)!. There you will have the feeling of warmheartedness!. It can also come from other things too, do what you did (or look back at what you did) as a child that gave you that feeling!. General examples of mine!. Those oh so beloved pokemon cards, pictures of my old home and friend in Georgia, just roaming around the store plaza and screwing around with friends!.
Of course these are just a few examples, and you do whatever you did when you were a kid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all very proud of you going cold turkey, great for you the pulsating sensation in you abdomen I don't think has anything to do with your quiting, not sure tho so ask a doctor, when i quit i everyday i stayed away from a cigg was uplifting for me, i did chew regular gum to quit!. I was so proud of myself, try excercising or if you already are just keep in mind that might be the reason for the twitching you feel!. so proud of you and keep up the good work!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thats the thing with axiety!.!. It can hit you anytime!. Smoking doesn't have anything to do with panic attacks!. This is physcholigical!.
I had panic attacks for years and they ruled my life!. I have learned that sometimes you just have to deal with things that are bothering you!. Relive the stress!. Talk to someone in person!. Excersize!.
Don't let panic rule your life!.!. Like it did me!.!. It's not worth it!.!. I lost a lot of years to it!. Worrying when my next one was going to be!.
Be strong!.!. Remember they can't hurt you!.!.!. but you can hurt yourself while in one!. Take 3 slow deep breaths!.!. Try to relax!.!. I know it's hard but you can over come panic if you learn how!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Panic attacks come fo many reasons!. Whatever the reason, be proud you have taken the challenge of quitting cigarettes, and that you chose to reach out rather than smoke again!. I'm sorry you had a bad day - I hope the next one is better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
