Bulemics are not necessarily thin!. If he didn't know that then he's not a doctor and didn't pass his psych rotation or the USMLEs!. They beat that concept into your head like there is no tomorrow!.

Let him know - Bulemia Nervosa can cause alot of damage to your internal organs like your heart, he may have to do a EKG!. Its good that you want to stop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't Listen to the negative ones, my sister is dealing with it and has been for year only she throws up as well!. It is a hard situation, but hope is not lost and just tell the doctor everything, that is what they do!. It could save your life!. I don't know how old you are and it doesn't matter, but if people are cruel to you who cares they are ignorant butts anyways!. They do not see your need for help!. Don't let them get you down!. I love my sister and I know she will some day change and pull through this and I can tell you with confidence if you admit the problem and seek help you will overcome this!. Good luck and I will say a prayer for you for healing!. Weather you believe or not!. Ps you are not fat you are beautiful you just need to believe it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you don't have to be scared of telling your doctor anything, believe me they hear much worst stuff!. when you get to his office a nurse will probably ask you why you are being seen, if you don't feel comfortable telling her just tell her "i'm sorry but this is very personal" she wont insist!. their job is to make you comfortable!.
when you finally see your doctor and he asks what's up, just say "i'm here because i'm having an eating problem" and he'll start making the questions so your job is going to be to answer!. you can even tell him "this is very hard for me to speak of" and i promise you that he's going to be very understanding!.
i'm glad you are taking this huge step for your health, and i truly wish you the best!.
good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Say to him, openly that, you have suffered with bulimia for 4 years, switching between binging and throwing up, and you feel you need to receive some sort of help!.
Tbh you need to tell the dr how you told us on here!. Don't fear it, its a common problem, and you should be saying it proudly that you want help!. Im sure the dr will be comforting and as helpful as possible!.

Good luck,Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm assuming the reason you are going there is to get checked out and make sure your bulimia has not damged your system too much!. I would start with telling him that you've had some behaviors over the last four years that have been unhealthy and you feel you need a check up!. Then explain to him!. You don't need to go into details!. He's a doctor, he gets what happened without needing a major explanation!. He may suggest therapy, though!. Just to let you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He is a doctor so you would want to say it in a very proper and Technical Say doctor i have a confession i have a eating disorder!. I am bulimic and cannot not help myself from self-vommiting after eating!. Say you need help!. If you say this to him you sound like your serious about your mental disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can, just tell him that you have bulimia and that you want help!. Or you could just tell him that you have an eating disorder and he'll pretty much take it from there and ask you the right questions to figure out what's going on!.

Good luck with your appointment and recovery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's best to come clean right away!. Why don't you just say that you think that you might be bulimic and you are looking for some advice!? That way, the ball in now in his/her court!. If you really have had enough and want to get help, there is really no other way to go!. Good luck!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think your doctor will admire your courage for realising your problem and seeking help!. Just tell him that you have been suffering from an eating disorder, Bulimia, and you feel that it is time you got help after suffering for 4 years!.
Best of luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

ask him if he think that you have a problem! if he dose not then tell him or he why you think you have a problem weather it may be mental or physical
good luck XX!.!.!.x
ps you don't have to be skinny to have a eating disorder!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure it won't be the first time that he's had a patient in your position!. Just say: "I think I might be bulimic" and let the conversation develop from there!. Remember, your GP is there to help you, not to judge you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can walk in there and sey i have a problem with myself and it is your to do with food and stuff, then you can go on with your doc lol hope it helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Tell him you've had some personal health issues!. and that you have a eating disorder you want to fix!. and then get to the facts!. dont be afraid to tell him everything, b/c hes a doctor, and thts what hes there 4!.
Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unless you have a history of lying to your doctor, he should be willing to listen and help you!. Just tell him you think you are bulemic and he'll take it from there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hes a doctor!. hes trained to handel that kind of stuff!. just tell him what it is!. he deals with it all day every day!. its not like hes gonna start laughing at you are anything!. and Im sure your not fattish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps you should ring a support group first! See how that makes you feel! They won't judge you they will help you!. They also maybe point you in the right direction by having an actual group in your area! Hope this helps!xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Tell him that your sick & you need help to get better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dr!. im bullimicWww@Answer-Health@Com

simular expierence, someone very close to me was bulimic and and they went to the doctors, but with thier parents since she was still underage!. im not a doctor, but in high school heath class i remeber the teacher saying that a majority of bulimic indivisuals are average or slightly overweight, so it will not be anything they havent seen or heard before!. remember they are there to help you, and to not judge!. go in there and say i have some things i want to change about myself and i will do anything possible to change!. you should be proud of yourself for admitting your problems and taking action to change!. they may ask you to tell why you do it as in acceptance from others, people teasing you whatever brought u to where you are now!. try to remeber the first time you made yourself purge, what emotions you were feeling, and tell your doctor that!. also, since u having been doing this for a while mention if those feeling are still the same, and if you still do it for the same reasons, or have your emotions and motives changed!. really the most important thing you can do is be honest, tell everything you know, and realize this will be a long road to recovery, but it is possible!. and dont stress how to initiate the conversation im sure they have had patients screaming and yelling in there office to people who are in the hospital with serious conditions, so im sure however u approach it, they will make u feel as comfortable as possible!. good luck and i wish u the best!. hope i helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com
