If you have excess nasal/mucus drainage into your throat, it can eventually lead to an ear infection!. I'm not exactly sure about how the throat is connected to the ear, but I've had a long history of ear infections and I know that whenever I have a cold with nasal drainage, I am very susceptible to an ear infection!. You should go to the doctor if this has been going on for a few days, because then it's likely that's what it is!. You might get sent to an ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) doctor and will get a prescription for amoxicillin, which is just an antibiotic!.
