I have trouble sleeping, what can I do?!


Question: I have trouble sleeping, what can I do!?
I usually go to bed around 10 or 11 at night, but I can't fall asleep!. I will lie in bed for two hours sometimes!. So my recent solution has been to exhaust myself by staying on the computer later, so that when I do go to bed, I fall asleep more immediately!. Either way, I am still tired in school the next day!. What are some more options!? I am seventeen and really dislike taking medication for anything at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would avoid medication if possible!. First, realize that rest is almost as good as sleep; if you're just lying there relaxed, this is doing you some good!. Realizing this also takes away anxiety about failing to fall asleep, and once the anxiety is lessened, well, you'll fall asleep more easily!. Also this is a great time to learn how to quiet your mind - practice silencing all your thoughts!. This is impossible to do indefinitely, but for a few seconds at a time should be achievable!. This is similar to meditation, which has its own benefits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try nice warm milk before bed!. Don't read or watch tv before bed or play on the computer as that is stimulating ur brain!. I understand that u dislike taking meds but I also suggest Valain which will help u sleep, u get it from the chemist or shopping centre!.!.!.its all natural and helps relax ur body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
