Well, there are many options and I'll assume you don't want to be prescribed antidepressants

First off your diet!. Eat portioned meals three times a day and drink water when you're thirsty!. Wean off coffee and alcohol!. Don't do drugs!. Quit smoking!.

Second, your sleeping habits!. Go to bed at the same time every day, you don't necessarily require eight hours so just make sure you get how ever many hours you like!.

Third - Exercise!. By this I don't mean go to a gym!. Going to a gym is a great deal of stress, you may feel you're being judged, it can cost an annoying large amount!. So just go for a walk!. After dinner, go for a walk!. Talk to a stranger!. Stretch when you wake up, try out some yoga!. Keep active and you'll be a happier person!.

The fourth is the most important, don't give up on your friends and family!. You may feel that it's meaningless, that they don't like you anymore, that going out with them or even talking to them will only hurt them!. It isn't true!. These are people who care about you and even if you just sit by them and listen to them talk you are taking a stand against your depression!. You may be afraid, or lost, or hurt, but you are strong and you have already proved that strength by asking for help!.

So there you go, four easy ways to improve your life!. It didn't require pills, there was no money down and you can start it all immediately!. You have the power to take control of your life and improve it immeasurably merely by treating your body like a temple!. right well as most of these answers seem to be jokey and unhelpful, i'll have a go!. I was depressed a few years ago when my mum died and wouldn't have got through it without the help of my fiance!.
go to the doctors to get diagnosed!. they do a test regarding your feelings and just be honest!. they may put you on anti depressants but be careful before you make this decision!. anti depressants didn't work for me because when i felt well one day, i thought it was just due to the tablets!. so i prefered getting through it on my own!.
consider the reason for your depression - perhaps get some counselling!.
i think the main thing is just set yourself little goals each day!. just to achieve something!. tidy up your house so you have a good positive environment!. also make sure you get out a lot!. the last thing you want is to be home all the time!. give yourself things to look forward to!. especially now that summer is coming, go out and enjoy the sunshine!

There are lots of options!.

First, you have to be diagnosed by a pyschologist/pyschiatrist wirh depression!. That means going to one of those and having them talk to you for a while!. Sometimes, therapy is all you need to feel better!.

If you are diagnosed with depression, you can take medication and continue therapy!. Since you didn't leave any specifics, I feel like therapy would be a good choice for you!. But don't take any medications unless you have been diagnosed!.

You hang out with people and do things!. Don't just sit at home alone!. Get active in walking, running, biking, dancing etc!.!. Sometimes it may take going to a doctor and getting medication!. If it comes to that, don't be ashamed because their are many people who take depression medicine everyday of their life just to function!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably your hormones and your age!. Most of us go through that stage of life at some point, and it sucks royally!. When I was about 16 my mom sent me to a shrink because I was so depressed, but I never went back after two sessions!. However if psychological help is something you think may help, go talk to your school's guidance councilor; all of their meetings are strictly confidential, including from your parents!. Otherwise, grit your teeth and soldier on!

I did something weird to get through a lot of low times, and if you are a dork like me than it may help you too!. I memorized William Henley's 'Invictus' and recited it to myself whenever I thought I couldn't go on!. It really helped!.

well considering i came out of a deep depression i would say to go to amusment parks and eat a lot just eat a lot until you gain 1000 lbs and then you will be fat resulting in deeper depression or just go to socter and he will helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
