I think I had strep throat?!

Question: I think I had strep throat!?
I had all the symptoms, from a fever of 38c, intense headache and dizziness, no appetite, couldn't swallow a thing, and my mom told me she could visibly see a swollen tonsil with "white" dots!.
I had the swallowing pain for over a week, and then the above happened for about a day and a half!. (this was all just last night and the day before)
Today I feel much better, the only thing left is a little bit of pain swallowing, nothing much like the past week or so!. I've walked into Uni clinic at 11:00 am this morning just in case, but they had like a thousand emergencies, and my name hasn't been called up yet, it's been three hours, and she says it might be another two!.
I'm giving up, I think I'm getting better on my own anyways!. Does anyone think that not going to a doc!. might hurt my health!? Or am I fine!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
