Take a OTC pain reliever!. Honey helps because it coats your throat!. Warm salt water is supposed to help also!.It kinda numbs your throat!. If your sinus are draining that may cause you sore throat!. If that is the case get something to stop the sinus drainage!. If it continues for several days or you get a high fever I would see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What I do is I pick some mint leaves in my garden, wash them thoroughly, then soak them in hot water!.
