Question: Question about adrenal gland lesions!?
I have a low thyroid function, the dr checked this when i told him I was ALWAYS tired!. I also have abdominal pain!. So the Dr did a CT and found a 3 cm lesion on my adrenal gland!. Could this be effecting my thyroid!?
Are they going to want to remove this!? I keep getting contradictory info on websites I read on the internet!.

high cortisol levels (secreted from the adrenal glands) can suppress the thyroid gland producing less thyroid hormone

What did he tell you the next step would be!?!? Usually when a doctor mentions the word "lesion" it means cancer!. Make sure you follow up on this and keep all dr!. appts!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
