Question: Anorexia recovery!.,!.!.!.need some help! PLEASE CLICK!!!!?
Okay, so I am recovering from anorexia eating about 2400 calories per day, and today I ate 4,000 calories! I feel soo disgusted with myself and hate myself for losing control!. I had nuts, peanut butter, crackers, Starbucks Vivanno, cereal, pretzels, tortilla chips, orange, frozen veggies, etc for my binge! What should I do!? Should I eat a little bit less tomorrow even though I am suppose to gain weight!?
Please help me! I am 14, 5'1 and 93lbs!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok now i seriously want to help you sweetie!. as i know how this feels !. i have been thought it all!. i was 70 pounds at 5-5 and now am 130 pounds !. stupidly i gained my weight by bingeing!. this is not the good thing to do , its very understandable though , you have starved yourself or had a lot of control for such a long time that when u suddenly decide to get better you go out of control !. now listen to me , this is what you need to do ( i regret doing this so badly!. )
you still need to gain weight and be at least 105 i think !. now eat 3000 cals a day and don't deprive yourself of anything you like but make sure you spread the cals around the day !. so dont count fat or sat fat or carbs !. just eat what you want - make sure you have fruit and protein , veg , but dont deprive yourself of the things you like!.
i promise you this is the way to go

The worst thing you can do for yourself and your body is restrict your intake at all following a binge!.

When you don't give your body the energy it needs, it holds onto all the fat it can get!. So when you do eat, it takes all that energy and holds onto as much of it as it can!. That's what your body has been 'programmed' to do!.

So if you now eat less, your body will slip back into 'starvation mode'!. It won't help you at all!.

Something that might help would be to work out what the trigger was for the binge and see if there's any way of avoiding that trigger or, if you can't avoid it, strengthening yourself against it!.

Best of luck hun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

STOP!. Okay!. Calm down!. don't worry about it!. It's okay to eat too much every once and awhile!. Eat the regular amount you are supposed to be eating tomorrow!. Try not to stress on it!. It's not like you ate three chocolate cakes!. So take a deep breath and try to not think of it as a binge!. You are 14 and growing!. Don't stress about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you're 14 and already "recovering" from anorexia, you have a few more problems that need to be addressed!. since you've probably already permanently stunted your growth spurt through puberty, I'd suggest not starving yourself any more than you already have!.

you're 14!. don't you have better things to worry about than food!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, I've seen the pictures you've posted!. You are a naturally good looking girl and shouldn't be worried about what you look like!. Just go back to eating healthy and you'll be all fine!. Everyone gos a little overboard at times, but one day doesn't do anything, it has to be a regular thing!. I'm 15, so if you wonder what us guys think I guess you could just ask me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Although it seem that anorexia has everything to do with food, it really has little to do with food!. It has more to do with what you think you look like!. It sounds like you are self conscious like most teens are!. Most out grow self consciousness by the mid 20's!. What this means is that your problem is not weight, it's that you are too concerned about what you think others will think of you!. But you might say, what others think no longer matters to you but it's what you think about what you look like!. And I suggest that that is merely an opinion that you stamped in your mind and may be very skewed!.

The best thing is to start reading books about self image psychology!. An old stand-by is Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz!. Should be in any library or you can get it on Amazon for about fifty cents!. Everyone should read it at some point in their lives--just skip over the parts that are a bit advanced for you and focus on the stuff he says about self consciousness and being happy!. Then read another old standby, Your Erroneous Zones by Wayne Dyer which you can probably get on Amazon for about fifty cents!.

You'll do yourself a lot bigger favor by reading these books than counting your calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
