Question: Could having your Ear Buds turned up really loud be harmful!?
Ever since i got my ipod for xmas, i always have my ear buds as loud as i can get them to go, since then i have been getting painful headaches, and when listening to music my head feels weird or i get dizzy!. I cannot hear very well in one of my ears as i was used to!.

Without wanting to panic you, you could go deaf!. It's a very real threat!. The human inner ear suffers irreperable damage to it, when exposed to loudness levels greater than 100 decibels for over an hour!.
There's no use explaining to you exactly how the ear works here, you can wiki that, but believe me- you do not want to be listening to music that loudly!. Especially on headphones!.
Listen to your music!. Just turn it down!. Or listen to it on your stereo, avoid the ear buds for a while!.
I'd consult an ENT specialist, if I were you!. Perhaps some test results will help you realise how real the damage one could do, is!.
Best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, long time no answer eh!?

Anyway, I have this answer for you!. Having it too loud, can cause you to go deaf!. You could completly stop hearing in a matter of seconds and the thing about it, itll be so instant, you wont even know it happened!. Ive noticed cause sometimes, id have my mp3 up loud and Ill end up having to turn down and it slowly effects your hearing if it doesn't instantly deafen you!. Another thing is your ears might ring like if a flashbang grenade went off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Painful headaches, dizziness, and loss of hearing in one ear!.!.!.Hmmm!.!.I believe you can actually go deaf if you keep on going, you should get yourself checked by a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
