Heart Rate - What is Normal?!

Question: Heart Rate - What is Normal!?
OK, so we have this exercise machine!. I think it's called a Glider, but I'm not positive!. Basically, it has two foot pedals that you walk on, and the pedals are connected to bars that you grip with your hands, so you pump both your arms and your legs while using it!.

In any case, the point is, it has an EKG monitor attached to it!. After using the machine nonstop for about 20 minutes, I checked it, and it said my heart rate was 142!.

Is this number good, bad, normal!? Should I be concerned!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
suck it son, your maximum heart rate is 220 - your age!. so you wouldn't want to exceed this number at any point during your excercise!. It is recommended that you want your heart rate at 80% of your maximum heart rate for maximum cardiovascular benifit and 65% of your maximum heart rate for maximum fat burn!. so i would stick with that and most likely 145 is a very exceptable heart rate and maybe even a little low!. and always remember!.!.!.!. suck it real hard son!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

142 is high!. You should be at 120 or less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
