Question: What is a normal number of times for a person to move their bowels!?
I go about once or twice a week and i think something is wrong with that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The real answer is you have to define "normal!." Americans generally have very poor digestion and consequently bad bowel movements!. The most healthy person will go about 2 to 3 times per day!. Once per day is what most Americans try to achieve!. Once or twice per week is very bad!.

Doctors that have no clue about nutrition and how the body works in regard to nutrition will typically tell you, "oh, each person is different, whatever works for you is fine!." If you want to believe that, good luck in your quest for life in the future!.

If you are dehydrated, this will greatly affect your cycles!. If your adrenal glands are exhausted, that is the gland that is responsible for holding the water in your intestines!. Being exhausted, dehydrates your intestines!.

Eating the SAD diet, (standard American diet) is the best way to become unhealthy!. Listening to the so called "food experts" will only lead you down a path that will support the ridiculously low life expectancy of the average American to somewhere in the 70's and when death comes, it is usually welcomed due to the diseases and problems causing the death!.

The colon stretched out over a large area has the equivalent of a large parking lot in area!. It has all kinds of nooks and crannies where debris gets lodged and even crusts over, making digestion difficult!. If you have low stomach acid, as most Americans do, you will not be digesting your food well and be developing lots of toxic waste that your body has to deal with!. If your adrenal glands are exhausted, you eat a low salt diet, eating fiber will only contribute more to the constipation you are having!.

The body is about balance, but when it is overloaded with toxins, it just won't work well and you will get things like constipation that are early signs of degenerative diseases!.

At minimum, you should be going once per day; any less than that, you have a problem and need to correct the situation!. Most people that are constipated like you, have very poor intestinal flora due to taking antibiotics, drinking tap water, sodas, things with fluoride in them and even swallowing pool water all kills these very important bacteria!. They make up 3/4 of your immune system!

Cleansing your colon is a very good idea, but doing it with good quality products is essential!. Most of the junk being advertised today for doing this relies on your ignorance of what quality is and the marketing can get quite aggressive!. Colonics are NOT a good idea because they do some cleaning, but end up depleting your intestinal flora and further contributing to future problems!. They should be used in extreme circumstances only!.

Eating psylum seed shells is a good thing, but knowing how much to eat, etc!. can get frustrating!. The best thing is to clean your colon with a high quality product that gently removes the debris over a few months, not the quick week or so garbage being advertised!. I buy and recommend one company that has a great product!. It takes about 4 months to do the job and is very effective!. When you start taking the product, you will notice you have great movements and no pain, cramping, etc!., but just good movements and more complete movements!. Over time, if you look at your stools, you will see old things coming out!. Once you have done this, you need to focus on a maintenance thing about every 6 months or so!. Additionally, you need to change your diet and eating habits!. Go to: (800) 370 - 3447 and order the "Colon Cleanse!." Take 5 capsules in the evening and 5 in the morning!.

You also need to make sure you are properly hydrated!.

The average person needs water at the following rate:

Take your total body weight and divide by 2!. That number is the amount of water in ounces that you need to drink each and everyday!. Along with that, you should consume 1/4 teaspoon of "air dried sea salt" in conjunction with each quart of water you drink!. This puts the electrolytes in your body that will give you proper hydration!. The typical white table salt you buy in stores like the Morton Salt, for instance, is terrible for you and has loads of chemicals added!. Avoid that junk!. If you drink ANY diuretic drinks like, sodas, coffee, tea, alcohol, commercially prepared fruit drinks, energy drinks, etc!., these all dehydrate you and you will need to add more water to the total to compensate for the water loss due to these diuretic drinks!. Take the total ounces of the diuretic drinks and multiply by 1!.5 and add that total to the original total to come up with the proper amount of water you need to drink each day!.

I would highly recommend you seek out a Certified Nutritional Therapist that can test you a determine exactly what nutrients you are deficient in and they can help you with diets and supplements!.

good luck to youWww@Answer-Health@Com

I asked a nurse on my college campus (because I was having problems too!.!.but mine was more like every 2 weeks!.!.I've had problems since I was a kid)!.!.she said that it's normal for some to go 3 times a day, and it's normal for some (like you) who go once or a twice a week!. It all depends on your diet, exercise and if you drink plenty of water!. If you're really worried about it, I'd say start taking psyllium fiber, it helps assist your bowels (as fiber does), also try to do 30 minutes a day of exercise (preferably walking because it gets that natural up and down movement for your bowels, which helps you poop faster), and make sure you drink at least 13 glasses a day of water, it does sound like a lot, but if you drink it throughout the day instead of that soda, it's not that hard!.

I hope this helps, and good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it's normal for non-body-active(!?) people to go every other day if not the same case as you!. If you're not doing much work with your body, (i!.e exercise or play sports or anything of the sort), it's more likely for your metabolism to act slow because you're not burning much of the fat/calories/etc that you intake daily!.

I used to have the same situation, but I've recently started working out every day, and I instantly saw improvement!. My "bowel movements" went from twice/three times a week to every day!.

I think it's normal, just not a very common case for most people!. If you're worried, or want to go more often, you should work out or exercise more (:Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is bad, you should do at least 1 bowel movement a day!. According to Health, if you don't remove wastes from your intestines, all the decaying remains inside, the bacteria can damage your insides, and can cause colon cancer!. You should intake 25 grams of fiber a day to do a daily bowel movement!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
