Question: Will this cough go away after I get to Florida!?

So I'm going to Florida in like 2 days and I suddenly developed this really bad cough and I can't even talk!. I lost my voice!. I live in Illinois and the weather here doesn't feel like Spring!. It's still kinda cold!. I'm wondering if once I get to the warm moist weather in Florida that my cough will go away!? And I will be able to enjoy my time there not being sick!. Does anyone live in Florida!? Do you know how the weather is!? or does anyone know if it's just the weather making my voice all raspy ALL OF A SUDDEN!.!.!?

my suggestion-drink lots on fluids ;)
and probably it should be better in florida!.
