Don't ever start smoking.
Eat a healthy, well balanced diet.
Get plenty of exercise and stay active.

You think football players have parents who are both 6'8"? Of course not. It's because they are athletes. Just stay active and eat well.

doing exercises, push up,pull up and as you are 13.5 year old you have a chance to take growth hormone as prescribed by a doctor

One word... stilts.

Lots of really healthy food and lots of exercise is about it. Milk and beef and veggies and a bit of fruit. And lots of sleep.

But more important than that is to know that as long as your feet reach the ground, your legs are long enough, and you're tall enough. Truth is, 4' 10" would be tall enough if everyone else was 4' 5". And it would be plenty tall enough if you were the last person on the planet.

So, it's not that your height is defective. Other people have nothing else to do but pick on kids shorter than they are. It's a cruel thing to do, and it's something that cruel and tacky people do people because they are cruel and tacky. You are fine; your height is fine. There's nothing wrong with you.
What those other kids are doing is picking on you for being different -- shorter -- than they are. But suppose you could take a magic pill to suddenly grow tall enough so they wouldn't pick on you any more. Would you do it? Would you change the way you are just so that other people would think you were "normal?"

My guess is that even at 4' 10" you're tall enough. But you're 13.5 years old, and chances are you'll grow another 10" over the next 6 years. More if you eat, sleep, and exercise really well, and a little less if you don't.
When you get older (in your 20's to 60's) you'll discover there are definite advantages to not being tall. It's easier to find nice clothes that fit; your grocery bills are less; and you take up less space in your house so you can fit in more stuff than big people. Also, tall people tend not to live as long as shorter people.

So, you could let those tacky tall people annoy you if you like. Or you could shrug their remarks away, and keep in mind that you'll probably outlive all of them. And keep in mind that you don't really need to change the way you are to make them happy. All you need to do is be the way you are, because it's the way you are -- and that's enough.

Best wishes,

A tall guy with lots of tall and short friends
