Nose stuffed up in morning, what should I do about it?!
Question: Nose stuffed up in morning, what should I do about it?
I went to the dentist a day ago and he pointed out my lips were dry and asked if I breath through my mouth at night. I never put any attention towards it and so I answered, "I don't think so"...Well he then proceeded with the Xrays and such however I woke up this morning breathing through my mouth and my inner nose felt really stuffed up.
What should I do about this?

Why was the dentist bring this up, what would have have done about it?

Answers:
Breathing through your mouth at night causes dry mouth and sinuses. Dry sinuses cause stuffiness. There is a mouth rinse called Biotene and it wouldn't hurt to get a bottle of Oceantic saline nose spray.
