Is this normal after a stomach bug?!


Question: Is this normal after a stomach bug?
I've been ill since tuesday with a stomach bug and while i'm starting to feel a bit better now and eating again my stomach is making a lot of rumbling sounds and feels like its bubbling and keep passing a lot of wind! Is this normal after a stomach bug or does this mean im still ill? I need to go back to work, but work with food and obviously can't go back if i am still poorly.

If you have a stomach bug then while you are not eating your stomach and intestine stop working and then when you start to eat again it starts to work the rumbling sounds and bubbling just mean it is beginning to work again.

you are most probably still poorly .but your stomach is rumbling mainly because your starting to get your appetite back and soon will be back to normal. i wouldn't go back to work just yet because even though you are getting better you are still clearly not 100%

anyway its work nobody really wants to go there . forget about it and i am sure you will be fine!!! :)

It sounds like you still are, take a couple of days extra off and see where it leads you :) Get Well Sooon!
