Lesbian couple having children?!

Question: Lesbian couple having children?
Me and my girlfriend are some day wanting kids. The not thing is there's obviously no way for the child to be biologically both of ours. Is it possible for doctors to use her eggs and a sperm donor an then I carry the baby? I mean I know it could be done but would they even do it since we both able to carry a child?

i dont see any reason why a fertility clinic wouldnt do that... but that'd be awful expensive. you'd both have to do hormone cycles (approx $800 a cycle) and then the IVF which, if not covered by insurance, usually run between $8,000-$10,000 a cycle. and given that you'd be opting for IVF instead of NEEDING IVF, i highly doubt it'd be covered. heck, most insurance barely covers actual infertility treatments when people need them :(

is there a chance you could use the same donor and each carry a child? not necessarily at the same time, but you can buy several vials of your donor and then each have a child however far apart you want them. then they'd each have one of you as a mom, but the same biological "father".

If you have enough money they will do about anything that you want.

Yeh i think so!!! good luck to the both of you!

if u have money
