Should i use my quit smoking patch program?!

Question: Should i use my quit smoking patch program?
I have attempted before to quit smoking cold turkey. Failed and gave in numerous times. I have a patch program but I am scared of The side effect etc. I also don't have a date set because there is not much motivation for me. Everyone in my family smokes. Parents/brothers/sisters. My BF raggs on me everytime I have a cigarette. Its gone to the point where I really need to quit. Yet, motivation is zero. What did you do to help you?

There's a trial there if anyone needs a quick aid to help quit smoking easier. Hope this helps.

My friend had quite smoking many years ago by using the nicotine patch when it first had come out. She was VERY successful in addition to the fact that she started to eat more healthfully and exercising a lot more. When people quit smoking, they may be at risk for weight gain but only if they start substituting food for their last vice and are not consciously thinking about their behavior :) Please do talk with the pharmacist or doctor about the side effects of the patch.

You may also find a smoking cessation program at the local hospital(s) which may be covered, in part, by health insurance.
