Question: Can you help me figure out these CBC lab values?
I am a nursing student and very confused about the shorthand lab values I read in my patient's chart:
CBC: 7.7/ 8.9/ 27.4/ 312
Usually the doctors write them in a branch-like box but this time they are all on one line so I don't know which one is which. I know some of them are abnormal. I am thinking the first one is Hemoglobin, but then what about the second one? That could also be hemoglobin. If you tell me the order they are written in, I'll figure out the rest myself. Thanks!

That depends on where you are and the system being used there. You need to ask someone there to help you with that.
